What is ReLease?
With our sale-leaseback program, ReLease, we buy your house. You get the money you need while staying in your home as a renter. Lease your home for as long as you’d like, while working toward your goals.
Why is ReLease a Good Option?
Pay off debt
Potentially cut your monthly expenses and achieve financial freedom without the strict qualifications of lenders.
Avoid the hassle of moving
With ReLease, you can stay in your home as a renter for as long as you'd like. No stressful house searches or moving processes.
Get ahead of your finances
By converting your equity to cash, you have the opportunity to pay off lingering credit card debts.
How Does ReLease Work?
Submit Your Information Online
Fill out the online qualification form and we'll review your information to see if our programs might be a good fit for you.
An EasyKnock Specialist will contact you to learn about your goals and create a plan that’s right for you.
Your EasyKnock Specialist will create an estimate that outlines the money you’ll receive, your monthly rent, third party costs, and EasyKnock fees.
Application and Review
Once you review the estimate, we will make sure we’ve covered the bases, and all questions are answered to ensure your success in our program.
Sign Purchase Agreement
We’ll send a purchase agreement for you to consider. You may have a lawyer help you review. When you're comfortable with the agreement, you can sign it to initiate the due diligence process.
Due Diligence Review
We conduct an independent third-party appraisal in order to make a final offer. This price may be different from the previous estimate you received. We also conduct an inspection of the property and a background check.
Sign Closing Docs & Lease
All documents, including a plain English disclosure form and a HUD statement, required to complete the sale and begin your lease are signed and notarized by a state-licensed title company.
Receive Your Money
Once the title company completes the verification process, funds (not including costs) are transferred to your bank account. Once the funds are wired, the transaction is complete, and your lease begins.
Stay In Your Home
Stay put as a renter of your home with leases starting at 24 months while paying rent at a fair market rate based on third-party data.
